Upgrading Vista to XP

Found this beautiful article, a review on upgrading to XP from Vista.

In other news, I bought my Mac. It comes next week. It cost more than my wife's minivan (which, admittedly, we bought with 166k miles on it). It's the third most expensive purchase of my life, after my house and my car.

Here's to hoping it's worth it.

Vista sucks so much it drove me into the arms of a loving Mac,
Randy

You will love your mac. As an extremely tech savvy former windows power user, I can tell you that OSX is light years beyond both XP and vista. I switched 45 days ago, never looking back.

Heh... You'll like the Mac, as Matt said- but it's not without it's OWN problems. DRM being one of them. However, any port in a storm at this stage in things...

Didn't like the Mac in the end. I was duly impressed at first, but this entry to my livejournal describes my many woes with my Mac -- am I just a big complainer, or what? -- and I've since WIPED LEOPARD from my Mac, and run solely XP on it. I figure, I gave it 4 months, and if I can't convert in that time, then the OS fails. Maybe not epic fails, but fails nonetheless.

Speaking of DRM, I'm reticent to even install iTunes on my XP installation now. There must be some nice sync tool I could use -- beyond just Explorer, if that works -- to connect to my iPod. I can't stand the constant need for updates to Quicktime and iTunes.

I was going to gat a mac. Then i was looking my bank account. And i did not have the money to be gating one. So i got an ubuntu. The ubuntus are nice to have if u are not looking to break the bank. And all u need to know is how to gat the Vista to boot with ubuntu.O and it is free and will not use up to 2 gb of RAM (most laptops come with 3 to 2.5 gb of RAM) It is not to hard to gat it on the vista i can do it and i am 15 years old.
